Mrs. Dougherty
6th-8th Grade Math
My name is Kathy Dougherty and I am an Arizona native. I have lived in Buckeye for most of my life. My husband Andy and I have been married for 28 years. We have three beautiful daughters, a loving son-in- law and a precious two-year-old granddaughter. Two of our daughters attended Grace Fellowship Academy from kindergarten through eighth grade. I started out at GFA as a parent and little did I know that God had bigger plans for me here at Grace!
I attended the University of Arizona where I received my BAS in Agriculture Education and then went on to get certified in Elementary Education. I taught for a few years here in Arizona before my husband was relocated to California. After one year we moved back to Buckeye and I made the decision to be a stay at home mom. I started working at Grace in 2014 and God’s plan for me fell into place and GFA continues to bless my life.
I enjoying hiking, working out and spending time with my family (especially my precious granddaughter). I recently took on a new role at our farm, helping my husband with cattle/beef business. Grace is like a second home to me and I can’t wait to see what God’s plan is for our school.
Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is- His good, pleasing and perfect will. Romans 12:2
