Exceptional Students Director
Hello! My name is Ashley Miller. I teach 1st grade and am the Director of Grace Fellowship Academy's Exceptional Students Program, HEART (Helping Everyone And Reaching Targets). I graduated in 2009 from Northern Arizona University with a B.S. in Elementary and Special Education. I have taught in the public schools for 10 years, as well as homeschooling and tutoring students. I have had the joy of working with children with disabilities for 17 years. My husband and I have been married for 10 years. We met at a school we were both teaching at and have enjoyed working together for many years. He has now resigned from 22 years of teaching and is the Community and Worship Pastor at our church. We have 3 children, ages 16, 7 and 5. Together we are passionate about foster care and adoption. Our 3 children are adopted through foster care and we have experienced God's amazing love in their lives.
I am an animal lover and can't say no to adding pets to our family. We have 3 big dogs, a St. Bernard, an Airedoodle, and a Lab mix, as well as a cat and a gecko. I love cooking, going hiking, going on day trips around AZ, and most of all being with my family.
I am so excited to be a part of Grace Fellowship Academy! It is an honor to have the opportunity to teach our students about God and the world He created.
